Lately I've gotten a lot of people asking me about my art, and ways to improve. And honestly after all the tips and tricks I share, the end result is that it boils down to practice. And sometimes its hard to see the improvement when you practice by yourself.

:bulletgreen: So I propose a program! Its a weekly project, that involves practicing together. You will get to practice with fellow aspiring artists, see your own improvement, as well as the people around you. I will be participating just like the rest. :bulletgreen:

Here's and overview of what you will get out of this program if you join:
  1. You will get Critique and feedback suited to your level. No harsh words here, only construction.
  2. You will get your work featured every week!
  3. GOOD honest practice!!!
  4. You will get to see yourself improve as well as your peers, myself included.
  5. Your suggestions make the decision about what gets practiced
  6. If you are part of this program I will watch you on principle, because I know you want to improve, and I want to see what you can do
  7. You will get to give me a what for about my work, and tell me how you think I should improve. (I need improvement too, I'm mediocre at best, and you guys know it!)

:bulletblue: Tell me about this project :bulletblue:
  • It's simple! Just ask to join, and you will get a weekly note stating the subject of the week.
  • The subject of the week is based upon a simple subject, such as: Wings, eyes, hands, feet, heads, hair/fur, etc.
  • When the subject of the week is decided, let's say wings. Then Everyone in the program gets a note about it.
  • Then you have a whole week to fill up a sheet of paper with wings. The standard paper would be 11 by 8. The key is to draw as many as you can, in many different ways, and to practice that particular subject.
  • When you have filled the paper/digital page to your liking you post it up on your DA. Wherever you feel is necessary, scraps is ok.
  • Make sure to shoot me a link to your practice sheet.
  • Then at the end of the week your practice page will get featured in a weekly journal update on my page, with a little info about you, and if you like, a feature of your best/current/favorite drawing.
  • That way people can see what you are proud of, and hopefully after a few weeks how you've improved.
  • You will be able to see how others have improved and share tricks and techniques.
  • I will be participating myself, because I want to improve with you. We are all learners here.
:bulletpurple: This will probably start off small, but i hope that it will grow and help people improve a lot. If you would like to know more about this program, feel free to ask.

:bulletred:You will get a watch from me the first week you participate, and submit a practice sheet to be featured. I will not drop watches till I know you are going to participate. Just saying you will and then not doing anything will not get you a watch.
